Students are to bring forward arguments based on theory for the development of exclusion and inclusion processes related to ability norms in special childhoods and biographies. They evaluate how self-determination and inclusion can be enabled in education and work.

Children, adolescents and adults are exposed to unequal attributions of equality in social interactions, institutions of society and scientific discourses. The topic of inequality is expanded with a critical reflection on abilities: These dimensions are not understood as deviation of normality, but as an interpersonal and societal relationship, which is expressed in the determination of abilities. The seminar deals with the question how such attributions develop in biographies and are reinforced in the intersection of original-, gender- and disability-specific attributions.
