222002 VO Introduction to the Faith of the Church
winter semester 2023/2024 | Last update: 27.03.2024 | Place course on memo listThe participants are familiar with central contents of the Christian faith in their relationship between scriptural and Church teaching, scientific reflection and existential experience.
Starting from the Apostolic Creed, faith, revelation, creation, the Fall and redemption through Jesus Christ are opened up and discussed in such a way that their rationally comprehensible meaning, their significance for life and their communicability to a secular and post-secular world become visible.
Lectures and keynote presentations on current issues by the course leader, exchange of experiences and discussion are combined. Texts are provided for the participants' own preparatory reading. The course is conducted online via the OLAT virtual classroom.
