Following the discussion around sacrifice and victim – especially between R. Girard and R. Schwager – the problems and meanings of these concepts is worked out and a criteriology for its evaluation is developed; looking aside to everyday and popular culture, politics, and the media, its relevance in these settings (school, film, literature) is shown.
