Students will be able to critically reflect on the structures and logic of modern economics based on Christian social ethics.
Central topics of economics such as scarcity and growth, market, money, work, property and poverty are presented and critically discussed in their importance for the functioning of the economic system. Some approaches of economic ethics will be presented and compared. Furthermore, starting points for economic alternatives are discussed.
Lecture and discussion.
