winter semester 2023/2024 | Last update: 10.06.2023 | Place course on memo listIn this course we will concentrate on the translation of texts about renewable energies and we will especially focus on photovoltaics.
We will work with authentic technical texts. You will learn efficient research techniques and the usage of proper tools. So you will learn to translate technical texts from this field and others in a functional way.
You will have to prepare translation assignments individually and within the specified time. These assignments will serve as a basis for interactive lessons (discussions! questions! active participation! ideas!)
2 written assignments: one assessed homework assignment (comparable to the Masterabschlussprüfung, within restricted time, including a reflection of your translation) and one test.
You will receive all information about relevant literature as well as worksheets, source texts, etc. in class.
