Geopolitical situation and the Republic. Geographics, landscapes and the Austrian economy in regions. Tourism (Austria in its role as a nation of culture and nature) and sustainable development as well as transports and problematics linked to this topic. Society, the Austrian people(s) and minorities. Womens rights in Austria and the Austrian policies for society. Austrian German as a variety. Etc.
Lecture.
Oral test at the end of the course (two repetitions possible).
Will be announced in our classes.
Positive participation in module 4 or 7 is a prerequisite for the attendance of this course.
Until successful completion of the entrance and orientation phase of studies (StEOP), students may not acquire more than a maximum of 22 ECTS points overall.
