After the Neudörfl party conference at the end of 1874, more and more socialist workers also joined the Innsbruck "Workers' Education Association", which is why the Tyrolean governor's office dissolved the association for "exceeding" the statutes, whereupon class-conscious Innsbruck journeymen founded a "General Workers' Association Innsbruck" in August 1875, which was subjected to police and official surveillance and repression in the following years. The Innsbruck Workers' Association becomes the starting point for the organised Tyrolean and Vorarlberg Socialist Workers' Party. The course will recall the founding period.
