winter semester 2024/2025 | Last update: 08.05.2024 | Place course on memo listThe students can demonstrate the emergence of the western confessional churches in their historical and theological connections. They can explain the history of the Ecumenical Movement. They can identify the ecumenical engagement of the Roman-Catholic Church in modern and present ages. The students can define and analyse the main issues of the current ecumenical dialogue. They can describe and explain the diversity of the Roman-Catholic Church.
Development of the Ecumenical Movement, Catholic principles of the Ecumenical Movement, overview of the different confessional churches and ecclesial communities, different models of unity.
