The graduates - can prepare and plan subject knowledge correctly in terms of content and in a comprehensible manner; - can implement and evaluate their teaching in accordance with the principles of contemporary art didactics; - can reflect on art didactic research results, theories and models in the context of teaching practice and critically question their own teaching; - pass on their own knowledge acquired in practice to colleagues and participate in the subject discourse.

Preparation, implementation and evaluation of teaching in visual arts education against the background of current theories and models of subject didactics; specific teaching methods of visual arts education; competence-oriented tasks and individualization; consideration of the aesthetic socialization of children and adolescents, dealing with diversity, gender-appropriate teaching; resource management; reflection on teaching with regard to teaching and learning; development and use of instruments for performance assessment; the subject internship includes getting to know the school's practical fields, subject observation activities and the delivery of own teaching units or teaching sequences in the subject of visual arts education as well as the development and use of instruments for performance assessment. teaching sequences in the subject of visual education as well as a preparatory, accompanying and follow-up phase at the university.

Seminar on experiences occurring in the practicum.

Preparation of a portfolio on experiences at the school and a critical reflection of these experiences on the basis of a didactic question.
