Learning Outcome: Die Studierenden können Aufbau und Mikrostruktur von Werkstoffen und den daraus ableitbaren mechanischen Eigenschaften charakterisieren. Darüber hinaus erlernen sie die zu Grunde liegenden chemischen und physikalischen Prozesse im Zuge der Herstellung und die sich daraus ergebende Möglichkeit einer gezielten Beeinflussung des mechanischen Werkstoffverhaltens. Sie sind in der Lage, experimentelle Methoden zur Erfassung von Mikrostrukturen sowie zur Bestimmung mechanischer Kenngrößen anzuwenden.
