Minor: Medieval Studies (30 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The Minor Medieval Studies covering 30 ECTS-Credits may be selected by regular degree students of bachelor's programmes at the University of Innsbruck if the respective curriculum provides the possibility to pass a Minor. The individual modules and courses of the Minor Medieval Studies may be studied, providing the availability of places.
Learning Outcome: Graduates of the Minor Medieval Studies know fundamental theories, methods and contents of medieval studies. They are able to grasp these from different perspectives, reflect on them and relate them to their own subject. Thanks to their thematic focus on this field, they also have an overview of medieval studies through the interdisciplinary breadth, the multi-perspective approach to different areas of medieval studies and the transdisciplinary way of thinking and working on medieval objects and questions.
