Learning Outcome: The students understand the topics of security and crime from a social studies perspective and can analyse the social constitution of deviance. They know the central theories of the sociology of crime and of the security society; in at least one topic area, they have a deeper understanding, so that related phenomena can be analysed in a theoretically well-founded manner.
