Compulsory Module 1: Management (14 ECTS-Credits, 7 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students are able to
- describe the important contents of Management, as well as the most common decision models,
- apply the concept of strategic management,
- explain the importance of entrepreneurship,
- interpret business plans and explain the factors of success for a transfer of a business.
Compulsory Module 2: Financial Management and Control (20 ECTS-Credits, 10 h)

Learning Outcome: Students are able to
- outline the fundamentals of the area of financial management and control, identify interrelations of the separate areas and include these in their analysis,
- examine the interrelations of financial management, accounting and control and to assess the possible effects,
- view control from different perspectives.
Compulsory Module 3: Leadership Human Ressources (12 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)

Learning Outcome: Students are able to
- understand and analyse the behaviour of individuals and groups in an organisation,
- analyse and apply instruments of human resources management.
Compulsory Module 4: Services Marketing (16 ECTS-Credits, 8 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students - are able to describe the methods of marketing and implement marketing projects, - solve specific problems of service marketing independently, - are able to critically discuss the essential communication, distribution and pricing policy instruments of service companies and of destination marketing, - are able to analyse and discuss marketing strategies for core tourism products and attractions in the tourism destination, - have in-depth knowledge of online communication concepts, methods and tools in e-tourism, - know available frameworks for publicising travel and booking hotels, - are able to critically examine the possibilities in terms of online communication and retention of customers in new platforms and channels available on the internet.
Compulsory Module 5: Economics (18 ECTS-Credits, 9 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students - master the basic technical terms, can understand and utilise simple scientific literature and classify and critically reflect on the current economic policy discussion and - can analyse both simple microeconomic and macroeconomic problems using comparative static models and draw the resulting economic conclusions.
Compulsory Module 6: Tourism (8 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students
- have a general overview of the tourism industry and can describe and classify the sub-sectors of tourism,
- are able to delineate the area of sports and health tourism and to assign supply and demand structures,
- can assess the effects of economic and social development on tourism markets.
Compulsory Module 7: Sports and Health (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students
- can assign psychological processes in sporting activities and the effects of sporting and health-oriented activities on psychological aspects,
- can assign aspects of prevention to the major subject areas (musculoskeletal system/sensory-motor system or cardiovascular system/respiratory system/metabolism) and understand the preventive effects of exercise and sport,
- recognise trends in prevention and have an overview of the basic concepts of nutritional science,
- can give an overview of current projects in sports and health research in the Alpine region (epidemiological studies, textile studies, sports equipment).
Compulsory Module 8: Enterprise Law (8 ECTS-AP, 4 SSt.)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students can
- recognise basic problems of contract, liability and business law relevant to companies,
- develop simple case solutions.
Compulsory module 9: Statistics and empirical economic research (10 ECTS-AP, 5 SSt.)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students
- have mastered instruments that enable them to access specialised communication passively and actively,
- can comprehend specialised literature using simple statistical and econometric methods,
- can assess the results of empirical work,
- can independently carry out simple empirical analyses
- can follow a technical lecture held in English and participate in an English technical discussion. can carry out tasks under guidance.
Compulsory Module 10: Introduction to Scientific Working (20 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students can
- formulate a scientific question clearly,
- embed the results in the scientific literature,
- identify suitable instruments for the analysis of a specialised topic,
- independently carry out simple empirical analyses and simple research tasks under guidance.
