Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of compulsory module 1

Learning Outcome: Students - understand the anatomical and morphological structure of various seed plants, - know microscopic techniques, - know the systematic organisation of photosynthetic active organisms, - understand the fundamentals of biological classification and evolutionary trends, - can apply their knowledge practically.

Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of compulsory module 7

Learning Outcome: Students - understand the basics of plant physiology - know the basics of vegetation and population ecology, - can recognise common plant species and know about the historical and recent use of forest and grassland habitats.

Prerequisites for registration: The registration requirements specified in the respective curricula must be met.

Learning Outcome: This module serves the expansion of the study programme and the acquisition of additional qualifications.

Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 2 and 6

Learning Outcome: Students have basic knolwedge of the physiology of plants and of vegetational and population ecology and have insights into the phytodiversity of local habitats.

Prerequisites for registration: The prerequisites of the respective curricula do apply.

Learning Outcome: This module serves both the widening of biological studies and the acquisition of a supplementary qualification. The areas of foreign languages, IT, management and scientific and ethical reflection are recommended areas for this.
