Acquisition of overview knowledge in the area of economics and International Political Economy, the ability to analyse, discuss and solve simple economic problems. Students acquire basic knowledge of political theories.
The goal of this course is to provide the tools to investigate micro- and macroeconomic theories and to build up a sound understanding of day-to-day economic news that hit the headlines:
Special attention will be given to fiscal and monetary policy as well as to international economic aspects
