Providing larger knowledge of the key data as well as of the main issues and aspects of the Cold War: the end of World War II and the beginnings of the Cold War, the German question, the Korean War, the popular uprisings in the Eastern bloc, from the Marshall plan towards European integration, the Berlin and Cuba crisis, on the Cold War in Asia, the demise of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War. Additionally historiographical master narratives will be presented in this course.
