Principles in Biomechanics

Students have a deep understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of several application areas of biomedical technology. They have an advanced knowledge of the methods as a basis for acquiring advanced knowledge in related areas of medical technology. The students are familiar with complex, interrelated bio-mechatronic processes and apply this knowledge for special developmental tasks in this area.

Biomechanic basics of the musculoskeletal system, the cardiovascular system and the respiratory system; forces of the musculoskeletal system; fluid dynamics (blood) in the heart, lung, arteries and veins;

Lecture, assessment is based on a single examination at the end of the course.

Course examination according to § 7, statute section on "study-law regulations"

Will be discussed in the first lesson.
