The course comprises three units: 1. Introduction to scientific research 2. Introduction to systematic reading of literary texts 3. Practice and analyzing of texts of the French literary canon (drama, prose, poetry) 4. Analisis of poetry (reader) and two works of the reading list

Accent lies on participation of the students and the training of competences in analyzing literary texts. During the semester students will have to (1) write three papers (3 pages each) (2) do a test at the end of semester
