222019 VO Fundamental Theology: Outline of the Jusitification of Faith
winter semester 2021/2022 | Last update: 27.10.2021 | Place course on memo listOverview of the subject "Fundamental Theology" with an initial ability to comprehend the current discussion on selected topics and to be able to take responsibility for it independently
In critical reflection on the history of Christian theology ("Theological Encyclopaedia"), the fundamental themes of the subject are developed as "theology in the signs of the times": Church and its relationship to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the context of the ecumenical mission and a profound metamorphosis of the social form of Christianity in becoming a world church; origin and lasting significance of the Jewish roots in the responsibility of a theology of religions, which in the context of the world-descriptive pluralism of the present poses the significance of the question of God for the person and society; theological epistemology with scientific theory of theology as the foundation of the claim of faith to reason (inwardly and outwardly)
Lecture with discussions.
