Students know:
· Basic psychoanalytic assumptions
· Psychoanalytically oriented developmental theories of the first years of life
· The significance of the mentioned theories for psychoanalytically oriented developmental research and research methods
· Selected models of psychoanalytic-therapeutic services for developmental supports
· Understand interweavings between social injustice and psychological development
· And can contextualize the relevance of psychoanalytically oriented developmental theories and research in the context of early childhood education and development
Presentation and elaboration of psychoanalytically oriented developmental theories, models, and research, using selected topics such as Parent-Toddler Groups (Anna Freud Centre), Infant Observation (Tavistock Observation Method), and therapeutic interventions in parent-infant settings (Fraiberg).
- Text study (individual work, group work) & discussions of scientific texts
- Input of the lecturer
- Multimedia presentations by the students
Small and large groups for the elaboration of assignments
Course with mandatory attendance.
· Active participation

Completion and submission of the work assignments announced in advance on Moodle (reading, text work, research report, final reflection, etc.)
