Acquisition of basic knowledge for structuring short-term and long-term processes and correlation sof events as well as knowledge on reflexive analysis for generating historic knowledge including questions on issues and methods used in the field of ancient history.
Drawing on various source materials (literary, epigraphic, archaeological), the ideas, worries, expectations, values and - as far as possible - the related life practices surrounding these biographical events are addressed.
Lecture and presentation of facts, results of research and scholarly debates, discussion and collaborative critical analyses of sources.
Active participation, readings, regular and active participation in discussions, final paper
