Knowledge of the main occurrences and results of the development of philosophical theories.

Philosophical thinking from the pre-socratic area to Plato and Aristotle, from the hellenistic and neoplatonic versions to the early medieval and medieval philosophy with respect to the influence of Christian thinking, the rise of scientific approaches, cartesian, rationalistic and empiristic movements to Kant and idealistic philosophy, the development of transcendental and hermeneutic philosophy, analytical philosophy, structuralism and postmodernism.

Lecture with opportunity for discussions.

Oral exam.
