Better understanding of todays Judaism in its various "faces" with a special focus on the interrelationship between people, land and religion/culture.
Starting from the end of the second temple period we go through rabbinic times and the middleages in order to understand todays various forms of jewish life as well as believing. Description of the social, theological and political groups of todays Judaism.
