By means of all genres of art history (painting, graphic, book art, jewellery, architecture, furniture, sculpture, reform of clothes etc.) the stylistic, functional and iconographical basics of Art Nouveau should be worked out. The pretension to realize an aesthetical reform and a glorification of daily life in all spheres of life permeates all artistically issues, also the manufacturing technique. In addition to the purely formal criteria the programme will be complemented by the observation of social change at about 1900, of the rapid changes of women’s position, of the psychological evaluation of individual personalities as well as of the crowd in their economic compulsions
