Comprehension of the essential elements of scientific method and its development. Ability to discuss critically ethical aspects of scientific research.
Introduction to the philosophy of science and the ethics of science. Emphasis will be given to aspects of scientific method and to ensuing questions regarding the role of academic science for modern societies.
