We will discuss the main views on the mind-body problem.

The mind-body problem is one of the big questions of our time: How do mind and body relate to each other? Is consciousness fully reducible to matter? And are subjects of experience nothing but bundles of atoms?

We will discuss these and related questions by drawing on the history of philosophy as well as on contemporary philosophy of mind and cognitive science.

Lecture inputs and discussion.
