The students know important concepts and positions in contemporary philosophy of religion and can take their own critical stance to arguments and claims in this field.

Introduction to the main contemporary debates in the philosophy of religion, e.g. on the status of religious belief, the epistemological relevance of religious experience, the interpretation of evil and the systematic position of the philosophy of religion. 

Lecture with discussion.
