summer semester 2022 | Last update: 23.10.2024 | Place course on memo listThe students can explain the historic development, practice, and theological interpretation of the most important Christian liturgies with particular regard to ecumenical aspects and the peculiarities of different rites.
Introduction in ritual behaviour; essentials of liturgical history; essentials of liturgical theology with regard to ecumenism; overview over current Roman-Catholic liturgy.
Lecture with comprehensive support by PowerPoint and handouts; additional bibliography and weblinks; online forum as backing for the learning process.
Written examination with multiple-choice- and freely formulated parts.
