Compulsory Module 1: Theoretical Principles of Vocational Guidance & Orientation (7.5 ECTS-Credits; 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates - are able to assess the importance of career choice for successful identity formation of the pupils; - have the skills to characterize occupational fields and occupations; - have the knowledge with regards to qualifications and chances in relation to training possibilities; - are able to present and explain different educational offers and paths and related requirements and possibilities for the choice of occupation; - are able to encourage pupils to reflect on their gender-specific socialization and its effect on the choice of profession and life planning and to support them in doing so; - have a fundamental knowledge of Gender and Diversity and know the most important information centres.
Compulsory Module 3: Project Managing & Counselling (5 ECTS-Credits; 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates - have a fundamental knowledge of project management and their documentation and Evaluation; - have a command of the basic techniques of conversation, team work and counselling; - know many concpets and methods for planning and implementing tasks and Projects.
Compulsory Module 5: Psychology 1 - Learning (5 ECTS-Credits; 2.5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates - know about the influence of social gender on psychosocial processes; - recognise disadvantages in relation to gender ratios; - recognise various social attitudes and biographic decisions, which are influenced by gender stereotypes; - have a basic knowledge of learning psychology; - are able to improve the pupils' motivation for Performance; - know possibilities and models for dealing with behaviour-creative youths as befits the Situation; - are able to present specific knowledge correctly and in an understandable way for teaching; - are able to develop and implement simple learning techniques and strategies.
Compulsory Module 6: Psychology 2 - Life Skills & Crisis Management (5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates - are enabled to teach pupils to understand different life situations, to inform them on minorities and marginal groups in an extensive fashion and to discuss important questions of life; - know methods of conflict Resolution; - are acquainted with conflict situation at school as well as with their Resolution; - know prejudices and discriminations and are able to communicate an increased awaresness for tolerance; - have a basic understanding for life skills and crises and know ways of prevention.
Compulsory Module 9: Personality Training/Personal Competences (5 ECTS-Credits; 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates - are able to teach their pupils values such as motivation to perform, sense of community, solidarity, resilience and creativity; - develop strategies for activating pupils and promoting independence and autonomy; - are able to convey their pupils networked thinking and lifelong learning; - have a basic knowledge of learning types and the consequences for teaching.
Compulsory Module 10: Personality Training/Social Compentence (5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates - acquire competences of social responsibility and are able to deal with handicaps. - have social and self-competence. - know methods of stress and time management. - know concepts for dealing with conflict situations. - acquire concepts for dealing with conflicts interactively. - are able to react appropriately to intercultural conflicts. - recognise the dynamics of group processes in the context of schools.
Compulsory Module 14: Personality Training/Intercultural Competence (5 ECTS-Credits; 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Graduates - know aspects of multi-dimensional intercultural communication; - know the causes of specific intercultural communication situations; - know about important effects of interculturality on everyday life at School; - know about the teaching, learning and working styles in different cultures; - know different forms of cooperation with different team partners in the school Environment; - know teaching models for implementing cooperation in everyday life at school.
